Stuart doesn't use the room when David's not in the bar, not even for a catnap. If he's studying, he prefers the low hum of the bar proper, not to mention the convenience of instant tea and food when he wants it, sometimes even before he realizes he wants it.

When David is there, Stuart doesn't intend to do any studying, anyway. He's capable of choosing education over sex, but he prefers not to.

He takes off the satchel (heavy with books--he will study while he's here, just not now) and says as he sits on the bed to untie his shoes, "What were all the scripts for, anyway? Choosing an audition monologue?"

David does occasionally use it when Stuart isn't there. He sometimes spends a day or two at the bar to get away from his course work. He sets his books on the small desk before joining Stuart on the bed.

"No, I was just trying to get back into it, read them like theatre rather than literature."

"Lit-er-a-chur," says Stuart with a smirk.

He lies on his back, legs hanging over the edge, and stretches out his arms with a pleased groan.

"How much fun is it going to be introducing you at parties? 'Oh, this is David, my boyfriend, the actor. Of course you've heard of him. Yes, you saw him at the National Theatre last month.'"

David gives him a wry smile and stretches out next to him on his side. "Ah, so that's why you want me to pursue it. So you can have a famous boyfriend."

"Obviously that's been my nefarious plot all along." He folds his hands on his chest and gives David his most angelic smile.

"Mm, yes," David answers, reaching over to idly play with Stuart's hair. "You've been grooming me all along for just such an opportunity."

Stuart rolls onto his side and props his head on his hand. He hooks a foot behind David's knee. "I really do think you're going to be amazing if you pursue this," he says seriously.

David takes a moment to look at Stuart, working out if he means that or not. He smiles a bit and nods. "Thank you, love."

"You're welcome, sweetheart," Stuart murmurs and leans close to kiss him.

David smiles more into the kiss and lets his fingers tangle in Stuart's hair.

Stuart caresses David's arm as they kiss.

David shifts closer, tangling his legs with Stuart's.

Stuart's fingers skim down David's arm to his chest. He lightly scratches David through his shirt.

David makes a quiet, pleased noise, pushing into the touch.

Stuart kisses him deeper, his hands gripping and kneading at David's chest.

David runs his hands up Stuart's arms and along his shoulders.

"Clothes off?" Stuart whispers. "Or are we just snogging for a bit?"

"Clothes off," David murmurs, already tugging at Stuart's shirt.

"Brilliant." Stuart raises his arms, grinning.

David laughs as he tugs Stuart's shirt off, tossing it aside and trailing his fingers over Stuart's chest. "Much better."

Stuart laughs too and pulls David on top of him to push his shirt up his chest.

David sits up, straddling Stuart's hips, and pulls his shirt off.

Stuart sits up too and kisses his chest.

David tangles his fingers in Stuart's hair and bends to kiss him.

Stuart holds David by the waist, kissing him.

David nips lightly at his lips.
